Hi everyone!! Finally I am sharing with you today my 2013 Smash book and what I did is a flip through which I video taped and posted on my YouTube channel!! Hope you enjoy it!! I´ve been terribly sick for the past 4 weeks with pneumonia but flipping through this book just reminded me what a great time I had working on this project and just how close summer is! Why not!! Yesterday I gave the last mini album I showed you but I was already finishing another one for a good friend of mine! It feels great to do these albums! This particular one I made following a tutorial I had seen ages ago but one of my favorite online scrapbookers, My Sister Scrapper. I had never had the chance to do it until now and loved it cos it was super easy to follow, not so time consuming and is done with just one 6x6 paper pad! The result is great! I will leave the link to her tutorial down below! Hope you like my version! Como no! Ayer regale el último mini a unos amigos pero ayer mismo estaba terminando otro para otra amiga! Qué ilusión me hace hacerlos! Este mini lo hice siguiendo un tuto de una de mis scraperas favoritas online que se llama My Sister Scrapper. Había visto este tuto ya hace mucho tiempo pero no había tenido la oportunidad de hacerlo hasta ahora. Me encanto porque se hace íntegro con un pack de papeles de 15x15 cm. For all my English speaking friends you might be wondering what the title means.. And the literal translation would be, Spring makes blood rush. I chose this title because the new Spring 2014 has brought with it lots of new babies and baby announcments! It suddenly feels like I am totally surrounded by pregnant ladies or newborns! And what better way to celebrate than to make gifts like this where the new mum can store those very special unique moments lived in the first few weeks. This one goes for Javier, son of one of my husband´s best mates. He came earlier than expected so I didn´t actually finish it before his arrival, which kind of worked to my advantage since I could print loads of pics and give it to them pics included which makes it look so much better! I experimented with a new binding system which actually worked! Have no idea if it even has a name but finally a binding method which allows you to make use of both sides of that oh so expensive scrapbooking paper! La Primavera la sangre altera y de repente me veo rodeadisima de amigas embarazadas o bebes recién llegados al mundo! Que maravilla! Y no hay mejor forma de celebrarlo que hacer unos regalos como este álbum que permite a la mama guardar estas fotos de las primeras semanas que son tan especiales! Este álbum es para Javier, hijo de uno de los mejores amigos de mi marido. Llego al mundo algo antes de lo esperado lo que no me dio tiempo terminarlo antes pero casi que mejor.. se lo puedo entregar con fotos y todo y creo que se ve mas bonito aun! Intenté un nuevo sistema de encuadernación y funciono! Y me gusta porque porfin se pueden aprovechar las dos caras del papel que ya sabemos todas lo caro que es y que siempre te da mucha penita usar solo una cara de las hojas! Hey there bloggers! Howdy! Sunday over and my am I tired! Which is NOT good.. As tomorrow is Monday.. First day to another hectic week! I have a great mini album to show you today..not so mini! Quite a big one in fact. Remember those cute houses I gave my daughter's teachers as a gift this Christmas... Well... One of her teachers ordered another one and specified it was for a friend of hers with a family theme.. And that she wanted it to be bigger than the one as gave her. So I put my construction hat on and started building! Hehe! I used cardboard to build the house, and reinforced the edges all over to make it feel super sturdy.. The result came out great. Left the book plain and simple since this was a gift and dunno of this person is a scrapper or not.. But I wanted her not to have a hard time putting the pics in it. Sure hope she liked it! I had to put my December daily aside to work on this.. So now I hope I'll find sometime to finish my own project... ! Check out the video at the end.. There is a Spanish and an English version! Tengo un gran mini álbum para mostrar hoy .. no tan mini! Bastante grande, de hecho. Os recordáis esas casitas que regalé a las profes de mi hija como regalo esta Navidad?Bueno ... Uno de sus profes me encargo otra para una amiga suya con un tema de familia .. Y que ella quería que fuera más grande que el que le di yo. Así que me puse mi sombrero de constructora y comencé la obra! Jeje! Utilicé cartón para construir la casa, y reforzé la los bordes para que se quedara súper resistente .. El resultado salió muy bien. Dejé el libro simple y no quería cargarlo mucho así será fácil para ella poner las fotos. Espero que le haya gustado! Hello and welcome to the month of love! I am having huge problems trying to find time to scrapbook anything at all! I have various orders I need to work on and I do miss doing anything for myself! This month I'm not even showing you a project! I have decided to write a fun entry showing you my latest haul since I made the most of a great sale in one of my favorite Scrapbooking shops here in Spain. Happy Christmas friends! It´s Christmas eve and I have decided to take the morning off.... We woke up to a dark gloomy rainy day.. my daughter actually thinks it´s night time already.. She is so excited Santa is coming! I have my latest project today.. it´s FIVE years late... coz it´s my Honeymoon mini album.. But I have finally got around to it and completed it and I will give it to my husband as a gift tomorrow for Christmas! It´s my first paper bag mini album and I really like the feel and look of it.. It feels sturdy and gave me lots of space for all the honeymoon pics. Hope you like it!! Have a very blessed and Merry Christmas! HO HO HO OH my God I have completely abandoned this blog since summer!!!! I have not had any time to update anything and practically no time to scrapbook! Well I am back!! Just in time for the best Season of the year!! CHRISTMAS!!! And its right around the corner actually!
So this year I was inspired by one of the Facebook groups I am part of to create my own December Daily.. Yet I wanted to take this idea a bit further and do a couple of them for my daughter´s teachers as a Christmas Gift. They obviously had to be very simple and plain inside since they are not scrapbookers. I am so pleased with the result!!! I went for a similiar style I used this summer to create a mini within a cottage like base. The roof detaches and you have the álbum to store in all your best memories of the season! Have a look at the video to see just how cute they are!
HOHOHO, dios mío que tenia este blog completamente abandonado desde este verano!!!! No he tenido ni pizca de tiempo de poner nada ni hacer nada! Pero vuelvo! y justo a tiempo para la mejor época del año! NAVIDAD!!!!
Este año me inspire de un grupo del face en que estoy metida para crear Diarios de Navidad. Quise hacer algo mas y hice dos Diarios para las dos profes de mi hija. Tenia que ser un diario muy sencillo ya que ellas no hace scrap. Me encanta como quedaron. Construí dos casitas, una es la casa de Papa Noel y la otra es la panadería del Polo Norte! El techo sale y es el mini donde irán poniendo sus fotitos de Navidad. También les sirve como decoración para la casa en época Navideña! Echar un vistazo al video aquí para verlos mejor!!
Here they are, one was originally a baby Cereal Box and the other a Macaroni Pasta Box.. Transformed in Santa´s house and North Pole Bakery! Aquí están, una era una caja de cereales de bebe y la otra una caja de pasta! Ahora son la casita de Papa Noel y la panadería del Polo Norte!
The roof detaches and the mini comes out! Sale el techo y allí esta el mini!
I tried to create the effect of snow on one of the roofs by using copious amounts of white glue with white embossing poder. Not bad as a result! Intenté crear el efecto nieve en uno de los techos usando cola blanca y polvo de embossing blanco. No quedo nada mal! El otro techo ya tenia purpurina en el papel.
