School is over!

Hello dear blogger friends,
I am soooo excited school days are over! We said good bye to the kids last Friday. A couple of weeks more of work and then off to summer holidays. Besides travelling, lazy days and visiting my family, what I´m really looking forward to is having time to scrap a bit more! I have been hoarding scrapbooking material like crazy these last few months... so I could really make use of some extra time to use up all my stash!
Today I am participating in yet another scrapbooking challenge by La Pareja Creativa where you can find all the details HERE The theme was free. There wasn´t even a sketch to follow this time! So I spent last Sunday experimenting with various ideas and this was the result! Hope you like it!

Estoy ilusionadísima que ya se han terminado los días del cole. Despedimos a nuestr@s alumn@s el viernes y ahora solo nos quedan un par de semanas hasta que empiecen las vacaciones!! Aparte de días tranquilos, viajes, ver a mi familia etc.. tengo ganas de tener algo mas de tiempo para escrapear. Llevo meses comprando material sin parar y necesito tiempo para empezar a ponerlo en uso!
Hoy estoy participando en otro reto, este vez de parte de La Pareja Creativa. No había ni tema ni sketch, iba por libre, así que el domingo pasado me senté a experimentar, y este fue el resultado! Espero que os guste! ;)

Saturday.. One day closer to the end of the school year.. One day closer to summer holidays! I went back to work yesterday and it felt like I had never left at all..!
Today I'm sharing yet another scrap competition, this time by Miss Scrap. You can check out all the info here. This one was slightly more challenging. The sketch called for paint or use of gesso.. And I'm not usually comfortable using this on my layouts.. I guess one part of me still resists mixing these two hobbies, Scrapbooking and painting.. But I did want to give it a shot. I had been dying to scrapbook this beautiful photo of my daughter and her amazing blue eyes.. 
This is my interpretation! Hope you like it!

Sábado.. Un día más cerca al final del año escolar..un día más cerca a las vacaciones de verano! Ayer volví a trabajar y me parecía que no me había ido nunca!
Hoy comparto otro reto, esta vez de Miss Scrap, donde podéis encontrar toda la info aquí! Me pareció algo más difícil ya que la plantilla pedía el uso de pintura o Gesso.. Y parte de mi todavía se resiste de mezclar estos dos hobbies de mi vida.. Pero quise intentarlo. Tenía unas ganas locas de escrapear esta foto de mi hija y sus maravillosos ojazos..

Second entry this week!! I am finally starting to get my energy and enthusiasm back and have created another layout to participate in another Scrapbooking competition by PlayScrap. You can check out all the details here.
This was such a lot of fun! We had to think of a place we would love to go to one day, cut out our silhouette and create a photomontage as if we were in this place. I had no doubts and chose Disneyworld with my darling daughter! A few months ago I even bought a paper collection with the Disney theme dreaming that one day I would have the opportunity to scrapbook a fantastic holiday.. We're still far from that.. But as PlayScrap suggested .. One can dream... Dreams are free!!!! :) hope you like my interpretation!

La secunda entrada está semana!! Por fin me esta volviendo la energía y el entusiasmo y he creado otro layout para participar en el reto de Playscrap y podéis encontrar toda la info aquí!
Fue súper divertido! Teníamos que pensar en un lugar donde nos encantaría ir algún día, recortar una silueta y pegarla en plan montaje como sí estuviéramos de verdad en este sitio! No tenía ninguna duda, el sueño más grande que tengo es llevar a mi hija a Disneyworld. De hecho hace unos mese hasta compre una collecion con el tema de disney soñando que algún día podría escrapear unas vacaciones de ensueño pasadas allí.. Todavía nos queda lejos... Pero como han sugerido en PlayScrap, una puede soñar.. Los sueños son gratis!!, :) espero que os gusta mi interpretación! Lo más divertido fue hacer las letras de purpurina ya que cogí thickers negras y las vesti de purpurina rojo porque me pareció muy apropiado!!

Participación Reto Junio Gargamellscrap

Hello everyone,
A quick short entry with my layout for the Gargamellscrap June competition which you can find in this link. The theme is summer and since we had a pre summer vacation last April in Denia I had some great pics to scrap book. I followed the sketch cos I loved the composition and this is the result! I made a mistake in the date in the written journaling and have no idea how to fix it! Suggestions appreciated!

Hoy una entrada cortita pero llena de color donde os muestro mi participación en el reto de Junio de Gargamellscrap y podéis encontrar toda la info aquí. El tema es Verano y como este año hemos tenido unas vacaciones verañegas antes de tiempo en Abril cuando nos fuimos a Denia, tenía unas fotos geniales para escrapear! Seguí el sketch porque me encantó y este es el resultado! Espero que os guste tanto como a mi!!

Let's have a Smashing summer!!

Helloooooo dear bloggers. We are in JUNE and you know what that means right?? A month away from those very much needed holidays!! I'm still recovering from my pneumonia but thankfully I seem to be on the right track!
Being at home gave me time to surf my favourite online shops and get together my summer kit which is basically what I plan to take with me 'on the road'. Last year it worked great and the summer Smashbook turned out to be a lot of fun. You can check out the finished book here.
So this summer the plan is the same one, I got my new giant Smash book, a great paper collection and it's corresponding chipboard pieces and then loads of fun stickers and embellishments. I have put it all in one video and hopefully it will inspire you to do the same.. Grab a box, fill it with supplies and make the most of your free time these holidays!!!

Hola queridos blogger friends! Ya estamos en Junio y sabéis lo que quiere decir esto verdad?. Que ya vienen las vacaciones para muchos de nosotros!! Todavía estoy recuperandome de mi neumonía pero parece que esta avanzando por fin!
Estando estos días en casa me dio tiempo mirar un poco lo que había en mis tiendas favoritas online y preparar el kit que me voy a llevar conmigo estas vacaciones para poder escrapear. El año pasado hice lo mismo y me funciono genial, fue súper divertido hacer el smash book gigante . Aquí podéis ver el libro terminado! 
Este año tengo el mismo plan, me compre otro smash book gigante, una collecion monisima de papeles de verano con los chipboard y muchas muchas pegatinas divertidas y varios adornos. Lo grabe todo en un video que esperó os inspire a recopilar vuestro propio kit de verano y aprovechar de vuestro tiempo libre este verano!

Finally I am sharing with you today my 2013 Smash book and what I did is a flip through which I video taped and posted on my YouTube channel!! Hope you enjoy it!!
I´ve been terribly sick for the past 4 weeks with pneumonia but flipping through this book just reminded me what a great time I had working on this project and just how close summer is!

Otro mini de bebe!

Why not!! Yesterday I gave the last mini album I showed you but I was already finishing another one for a good friend of mine! It feels great to do these albums! This particular one I made following a tutorial I had seen ages ago but one of my favorite online scrapbookers, My Sister Scrapper. I had never had the chance to do it until now and loved it cos it was super easy to follow, not so time consuming and is done with just one 6x6 paper pad! The result is great! I will leave the link to her tutorial down below! Hope you like my version!

Como no! Ayer regale el último mini a unos amigos pero ayer mismo estaba terminando otro para otra amiga! Qué ilusión me hace hacerlos! Este mini lo hice siguiendo un tuto de una de mis scraperas favoritas online que se llama My Sister Scrapper. Había visto este tuto ya hace mucho tiempo pero no había tenido la oportunidad de hacerlo hasta ahora. Me encanto porque se hace íntegro con un pack de papeles de 15x15 cm. La Primavera la Sangre altera!

For all my English speaking friends you might be wondering what the title means.. And the literal translation would be, Spring makes blood rush. I chose this title because the new Spring 2014 has brought with it lots of new babies and baby announcments! It suddenly feels like I am totally surrounded by pregnant ladies or newborns! And what better way to celebrate than to make gifts like this where the new mum can store those very special unique moments lived in the first few weeks.
This one goes for Javier, son of one of my husband´s best mates. He came earlier than expected so I didn´t actually finish it before his arrival, which kind of worked to my advantage since I could print loads of pics and give it to them pics included which makes it look so much better!
I experimented with a new binding system which actually worked! Have no idea if it even has a name but finally a binding method which allows you to make use of both sides of that oh so expensive scrapbooking paper! Here are a few pics and the video down below for more detailed view.

La Primavera la sangre altera y de repente me veo rodeadisima de amigas embarazadas o bebes recién llegados al mundo! Que maravilla! Y no hay mejor forma de celebrarlo que hacer unos regalos como este álbum que permite a la mama guardar estas fotos de las primeras semanas que son tan especiales!
Este álbum es para Javier, hijo de uno de los mejores amigos de mi marido. Llego al mundo algo antes de lo esperado lo que no me dio tiempo terminarlo antes pero casi que mejor.. se lo puedo entregar con fotos y todo y creo que se ve mas bonito aun!
Intenté un nuevo sistema de encuadernación y funciono! Y me gusta porque porfin se pueden aprovechar las dos caras del papel que ya sabemos todas lo caro que es y que siempre te da mucha penita usar solo una cara de las hojas! Aquí os dejo unas fotos y el video mas detallado abajo para que podáis ver los desplegables!

Manos a la obra!

Hey there bloggers! Howdy! Sunday over and my am I tired! Which is NOT good.. As tomorrow is Monday.. First day to another hectic week! I have a great mini album to show you today..not so mini! Quite a big one in fact. Remember those cute houses I gave my daughter's teachers as a gift this Christmas... Well... One of her teachers ordered another one and specified it was for a friend of hers with a family theme.. And that she wanted it to be bigger than the one as gave her. So I put my construction hat on and started building! Hehe! I used cardboard to build the house, and reinforced the edges all over to make it feel super sturdy.. The result came out great. Left the book plain and simple since this was a gift and dunno of this person is a scrapper or not.. But I wanted her not to have a hard time putting the pics in it. Sure hope she liked it! I had to put my December daily aside to work on this.. So now I hope I'll find sometime to finish my own project... !

¡Hola! Es Domingo y estoy agotada!! Lo cual no es bueno .. Como mañana es Lunes .. Primer día de otra semana llenísima! Tengo un gran mini álbum para mostrar hoy .. no tan mini! Bastante grande, de hecho. Os recordáis esas casitas que regalé a las profes de mi hija como regalo esta Navidad?Bueno ... Uno de sus profes me encargo otra para una amiga suya con un tema de familia .. Y que ella quería que fuera más grande que el que le di yo. Así que me puse mi sombrero de constructora y comencé la obra! Jeje! Utilicé cartón para construir la casa, y reforzé la los bordes para que se quedara súper resistente .. El resultado salió muy bien. Dejé el libro simple  y no quería cargarlo mucho así será fácil para ella poner las fotos. Espero que le haya gustado! Tuve qué dejar de lado mi proyecto del diario de Navidad... A ver ahora si lo puedo retomar!
